LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Beau Leroux scored two goals to lead San José State (6-3-2, 2-0-1 WAC) to a 3-1 win over UNLV (1-6-6, 0-3-2 WAC) on Friday night in Las Vegas, Nev.
- For Leroux, it was the second time this month he netted a brace as he also scored two goals against Texas Rio Grande Valley in a 3-0 win on October 2nd.
- Leroux has seven goals this season which is a team high and is the third most in the WAC.
- Anthony Guzman came off the bench and potted his first career goal, off an assist by Finlay Wood.
- Guzman recorded a multi-point night when he assisted Leroux on the third goal of the match.
- David Sweeney made two saves.
- The Spartans outshot UNLV, 17-8.
- With the win, the Spartans moved into second place in the WAC.
