IRVINE, Calif.— Bende Pardi led No. 15 San Josè State (4-12, 0-2) against No. 9 UC Irvine (11-8, 1-0) on the road, as the Spartans fell 13-10 in another hard fought match.
- Javi Ibanez (2), Nikola Nikolic (2), Mark Kis, Bence Szabo and Niels Hofmeijer also netted at least one goal during the match leading to a balanced attack.
- The Spartans outscored the Anteaters in third quarter with three gals.
- Padri and Laszlo Szieben also recorded two assists each.
- Goalkeeper Zoltan Der also recorded seven saves throughout the match.
- As a team, the Spartans recorded 26 shot attempts on goal and went five for seven on power plays.
