FRESNO, Calif. - Bryun Parham, Viliami Fehoko and Nehemiah Shelton all had takeaways to lead San José State (4-2, 2-1 Mountain West) in a 17-10 loss to Fresno State (2-4, 1-1 Mountain West) on Saturday night.
- Parham forced a fumble that was recovered by Kenyon Reed.
- Fehoko recorded a strip sack and recovered the ball.
- Shelton picked up his first interception of the season and seventh for his career.
- Elijah Cooks reached the 2000 career yards from scrimmage milestone when he made a six-yard catch in the fourth quarter.
- The Spartans only touchdown was a 32-yard pass thrown by Chevan Cordeiro to Cooks in the second quarter.
- Cooks caught seven passes for 140 yards.
- Cordeiro was 22-45 for 294 yards.
- The Spartans out gained Fresno State through the air with 294 yards compared to 230 yards.
- Kyle Harmon had nine total tackles and now is fifth all-time in SJSU history
- Soane Toia registered his first sack of the season and Lando Grey collected his second sack of the season.
