SJSU Marketplace
SAN JOSE, Calif. - San José State Athletics and Opendorse partnered to launch SJSU's Marketplace on Thursday, the Spartans' official Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) marketplace for student-athletes. SJSU is one of the first athletics departments to provide this great opportunity for nearly 500 student-athletes.
"This is another tool we can provide our student-athletes to help enhance their opportunities in the NIL marketplace," said Deputy Athletics Director Scott MacDonald. "This gives fans, sponsors and partners access to help in our efforts to provide a cutting-edge experience for our student-athletes, as well as utilizing the student-athletes' brand to advance their opportunities on social media platforms."
About the School-Specific NIL Marketplace
- SJSU is one of the first licensed school marketplaces in college sports.
- The Opendorse-powered marketplace will maximize NIL support for student-athletes.
