FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Sabrina Weinman scored on a free kick at 89:21 to lead San Josè State (6-5-5, 5-2-2 Mountain West) to a 1-0 road victory at Colorado State (4-6-7, 1-3-5 Mountain West) on Thursday afternoon.
- The Spartans have won three matches in a row for the first time since October of 2018.
- With the win, the Spartans moved into first place in the Mountain West conference.
- For Weinman, it was her second goal of the season.
- Bente Pernot made three saves and earned her fourth solo and fifth combined shutout of the season.
- Pernot has earned a shutout in back-to-back matches.
- The Spartans outshot Colorado State, 10-6.
- Weinman led the Spartans with three shots total, all of which were on goal.
