SAN JOSE, Calif. - San José State football (4-2, 2-1 Mountain West) hosts Nevada (2-6, 0-4 Mountain West) on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. on CBS Sports Network and KTRB 860 AM from CEFCU Stadium.

- San José State plays its 86th Homecoming game on October 29th against Nevada. The Spartans have a Homecoming record of 47-35-2. This year's Homecoming contest marks the second time Nevada served as the opposition and first time since 1994.
- The Spartans have won three of their last four overall and are looking for their fourth win in a row and are looking for their first true home win over Nevada since 2016.
- Junior quarterback Chevan Cordeiro, who has been named MW Offensive Player of the Week twice this season (10/03, 10/10), went 170 passing attempts before throwing his first interception as a Spartan on a deflected ball. Cordeiro has seven passing touchdowns and six rushing touchdowns this season.
- The Spartans have three main wide receivers who previously played at Nevada in Elijah Cooks, Justin Lockhart and Charles Ross. SJSU wide receiver coach Eric Scott coached at Nevada from 2017-20.
- The Spartans have only one offensive turnover this season and two overall. They are number two in the country with only two turnovers and are tied for first in the country with USC with only one offensive turnover this season. The Spartans' +9 turnover margin are only behind USC (+15), Duke (+14) and Georgia Tech (+10).
- Junior defensive lineman Viliami Fehoko had six tackles with three for loss, a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery and return for 13 yards at Fresno St. (10/15). Fehoko was named the East-West Shrine Bowl "Breakout Defensive Player" of the week (10/17).
- The Spartans have outscored their opponents 117-39 over their last four games.
- The Spartans defense has created a turnover in every game this season and are averaging giving up 14.5 points per game which is good for first in the Mountain West and seventh in the nation. Last season the Spartans defense let up 26.5 points per game.
CAMDAN MCWRIGHT:
The Spartans will honor Camdan McWright before kickoff with a pregame recognition. Each Spartan will have a CM6 sticker on their helmet, a special t-shirt they will wear during warmups and many other recognitions at the game and throughout the week.

Thursday: 15th Annual Fire on the Fountain
5:00pm-9:00pm, Tower Lawn
Rally together at SJSU's hottest tradition, the 15th Annual Fire on the Fountain! Come rally with your fellow Spartans and enjoy free food, free swag, an inflatable challenge course, games, and entertainment from 5pm-9pm on Tower Lawn. Come enjoy the spectacular fire show, fireworks and pep rally featuring SJSU football players and cheer squad!

COACHES SHOW:
For the first time since 2018, the San José State Coaches Show will air over the radio. Justin Allegri will host and have segments each week from head coach Brent Brennan, special guests and players. Each broadcast can be heard on Thursday night at 7 p.m. on KTRB.
Teskes Germania will be the site of the San José State Coaches Show and it will be taped in front of a live audience every Wednesday night at 6 p.m. The restaurant is located at 255 N First St. in San Jose and more information can be found here.
