SAN JOSE, Calif. - SJSU Swim and Dive will host Pacific this Friday at 1:00 at the SRAC Pool. The Spartans are hot, coming off their record-breaking times at Friday's home meet against Pepperdine.
- The Spartans dominated Friday's meet finishing first in 15 out of 16 events and second in 12 out of 16 events.
- Felicity Passon broke two pool records in the 200-yard backstroke with a 2:00.17 and the 50-yard freestyle with a 23.54 at Friday's meet.
- Passon swam the fifth fastest time in SJSU history in the 50-yard butterfly and the sixth fastest in SJSU history in the 50-yard backstroke.
- At the Chick-Fil-A Invite, Passon also swam the fifth fastest time in program history in the 200-yard backstroke with a mark of 1:59.52.
- Izzie Fraire clocked a 1:04.62 in the 100-yard breaststroke and 2:19.47 in the 200-yard breaststroke to finish first in both events.
- Amelia Snyder finished first in the 100-yard freestyle event with a time of 52.89 followed by Ellie Shorten with a time of 53.95.
- Reagan Mathieson and Passon placed top two in the 200-yard free relay recording a 1:51.69 and a 1:51.99 respectively at the Roadrunner Invitational.
- Jenna Jagielski scored a 283.35 on the three-meter dive and a 274.20 on the one meter dive to win both events against Pepperdine.
- Jagielski finished first with a score of 322.20 in the three meter dive, while Emily San Jose came in second with a score of 291.00 at the Roadrunner Invitational.
- Both Jagielski and San Jose have qualified for postseason.
