SAN JOSE, Calif. — Sophomore Bence Szabo was named the Golden Coast Conference (GCC) Player of The Week after leading No. 14 San Josè State to four consecutive victories over George Washington, Bucknell, Brown and Harvard at the Julian Fraser Memorial Tournament.

- Went five-for-five on scoring against Harvard to lead the Spartans.
- Scored the game winning goal against Harvard in a upset win 14-13 with 12 seconds to play.
- Netted six goals in one day against Bucknell and Brown to lead SJSU as the Spartans scored 31 goals throughout the two victories.
- Led SJSU with one goal in a comeback win over George Washington 10-9.
- Scored 12 goals with 12 drawn exclusions over four games and three days leading SJSU to a 4-0 mark over that 72 hour span.
- Has netted 22 goals throughout the 2022 season so far.
- Averaging 60% on shot attempts throughout the 2022 season.
