SAN JOSE, Calif. - San José State cross country travels to Laramie, Wyo. for the Mountain West Championships on Friday, October 28th. 

- The Spartans will be challenged by the elevation as Laramie is 7,200 feet above sea level.
- SJSU will be running in high altitude for the first time in 2022.
- The Spartans are coming off a strong showing at the Bronco Invitational where Omar Pina ran a 25:44.1 in the men's 8k and Constance O'Neal ran a personal-best time of 22:33.4 in the women's 6k.
- Juliette Noyer returns to competition this week after missing the Bronco Invitational due to injury.
- Noyer will be looking to beat the 22:34.4 she ran at the 2021 Mountain West Championships in Albuquerque, N.M.
- Christian Moreno led the men at the 2021 Mountain West Championships with a 28:24.4.
