WILMINGTON, N.C.—Louisa Carlbom shot a two-under 70 and is the individual leader after two rounds at 7-under 137 as the San José State women's golf team maintained their first-place standing at the 20th Annual Landfall Tradition played at the Country Club of Landfall – Dye Course.

- Carlbom's 70 came with plenty of action for her on the course. She made seven birdies during her round, but had to overcome making five bogeys. She was even par after 14 holes and finished the day going par-birdie-birdie-par.
- Carlbom leads the field in birdies made with 13, and par-4 scoring a -6.
- Three other Spartans rank in the top-25 individually. Antonia Malate is tied for sixth at 4-under 144. She shot a 71 on Saturday, making three birdies and 13 pars.
- Kajsa Arwefjäll is just one shot behind Malate as she is tied for 13th at 3-under 141. Arwefjäll also shot a 1-under 71 in the second round, finishing her round with three pars and back-to-back birdies on the final two holes.
- Rebecca Gyllner is tied for 23rd at even-par 144, after shooting her second consecutive even-par 72. She made three birdies, three bogeys and 12 pars.
- Lucia Lopez Ortega is tied for 34 at 2-over 146. She made two birdies in her round 74 on Saturday.
- The ninth-ranked Spartans shot the low round of the day with a 4-under 284 and increased their lead over second-ranked Wake Forest to four shots. The Spartans are 14-under 562 for the two rounds and are four shots better than the Demon Deacons and 10 shots better than South Caroline and Florida State.
- San José State leads the field in par-4 scoring at 15-under, 16 shots better than the next team in the tournament. The Spartans also lead the field in birdies made with 40.

SJSU begins the final round on Sunday with a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m. ET/5:45 a.m. PT. The team will play with Wake Forest and South Carolina, starting the day on holes 1-5.
