USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Joel Garcia scored his fourth goal of the season and David Sweeney made four saves to lead San José State (8-4-3, 4-1-2 WAC) to a 1-1 draw versus Air Force (7-4-3, 6-0-1 WAC) on Friday night.
- Air Force entered the contest without a loss or draw in conference play in 2022.
- With the draw, the Spartans earned one point to bring their season total to 14 and remain five points behind Air Force.
- Garcia's four goals is the second most on the team, behind only Beau Leroux who has seven.
- Herminio Padilla and Isaac Lomeli both picked up their third assists of the season.
- Sweeney is now four saves away from tying Mike Taft for seventh all-time in career saves by a Spartans goalkeeper.
