SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State Spartans first match of the Mountain West Championship takes place on Sunday night at 6 p.m. (PT) against Colorado College in Albuquerque, N.M.
- The Spartans finished the regular season with a share of the Mountain West regular season title, however due to tiebreakers, they placed third in the Mountain West standings and therefore missed out on a first-round bye.
- The Spartans are making their sixth appearance in the Mountain West Championship in program history and first since 2019.
- SJSU defeated Colorado College 1-0 earlier this season, on Sept. 25.

- The goal appeared on ESPN as one of SportsCenter's Top 10 plays.
