SAN JOSE, Calif. - Isaac Lomeli and Beau Leroux scored to lead San José State (5-3-2, 2-0-1 WAC) to a 2-1 win over Incarnate Word (0-10) on Saturday night at the Spartan Soccer Complex.
- Lomeli's goal occurred in the fifth minute and he was assisted by Riccardo Scarafia and Mario Barocio.
- Leroux scored in the 44th minute and once again, Scarafia got an assist.
- Leroux scored his fourth goal in three matches and team-leading fifth goal of the season.
- The Spartans had 22 shots and Incarnate Word had six.
- Goalkeeper David Sweeney made two saves.
- The Spartans have not lost since September 8th against Saint Mary's.
- Incarnate Word is not in a conference this season so tonight's win did not count towards the Spartans conference record.
