LOS ANGELES, Calif.— Bende Pardi scored four goals to lead San Josè State (5-10, 0-1) as the Spartans dropped their first game of conference play against Pepperdine (10-9, 1-0) 13-10.
- Javi Ibanez netted another three goals of his own on the afternoon.
- Mark Kis, Laszlo Szieben and Bence Szabo also netted goals for the Spartans.
- Connor Macmillan recorded three assists to lead SJSU.
- The Spartans also recorded six steals and five blocks on the afternoon.
- Goalkeeper Jamie Steingraf recorded 11 saves on the afternoon.
Next Up: The Spartans will travel back down to Southern California to play against UC Irvine on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 1:00 p.m. PST a the Anteater Aquatics Center. Then San Josè State will play Whittier College on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 12:00 p.m. PST in Whittier, CA.
