Spartans Sign Local Shooting Guard from Valley Christian

SAN JOSE, Calif.—Pasha Goodarzi, a 6-3 shooting guard from Valley Christian High School in San Jose, has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to play men's basketball for the Spartans beginning with the 2023-24 season, as announced by Spartan head coach Tim Miles.

  • Team leader for Valley Christian on and off the court
  • Averaged 18 points and 3 rebounds per game his junior year
  • Shot 44% from three-point range.
  • Plays for the Oakland Soldiers EYBL
  • Scored 19 points including 7-for-8 from the field and dished out four assists in a game at the 2022 Nike EYBL

 
"We are very excited to add Pasha to our program. He's an outstanding young man with an elite skill set when you look at his ability to shoot the basketball. He's an emerging prospect who is getting better and better each day. We love to recruit strong, local prospects as this allows us to build this program the right way," said Miles.
