STANFORD, Calif. - Bente Pernot made 14 saves to lead San José State in a 6-0 loss against No. 3 Stanford on Friday night.
- Pernot's 14 saves were a career high for the freshman goalkeeper
- Pernot was two saves shy of tying the Spartans all-time single-match record of 16 saves set by Cristin Rossman in 1995.
- Bella Flocchini, Juliane Laurent and Natalia Nava all had shots on goal.
- Pernot, Evan House, Kiana Miyazato, Isabella Shallou-Enes, and Jada Wilson respectively played all 90 minutes.
NEXT MATCH: The Spartans shift their focus to the 2023 season after a very successful 2022 campaign. In 2022, the Spartans won the Mountain West Tournament and earned a share of the Mountain West regular-season title.
