SAN JOSE, Calif.—William Humer (pronounced Homer), a 6-10 forward from McCook Community College, has signed a National Letter-of-Intent to play men's basketball for the Spartans beginning with the 2023-24 season, as announced by Spartan head coach Tim Miles.

- Freshman at McCook Community College
- His assistant coach, Dwight Smith, played for Coach Miles at Colorado State
- Graduated from Riksbasketgymnasiet Luleå in Sweden where he averaged 12.7 points and 8.8 rebounds per game
- Will major in computer science with a minor in finance
"We are very excited to add William to our program," said Miles. "He's a great kid and a terrific basketball player. He's got excellent skill and versatility which allows him to play multiple positions. He's exactly the type of person we need to elevate San José State in the Mountain West."
