SAN JOSE, Calif. - SJSU Swim and Dive will host Sanford this Friday at 1:00 at the SRAC Pool.
- The Spartans led Fridays' meet finishing first in 14 out of 16 events.
- Felicity Passon, Megan Legarth, Cali Rowland, and Reagan Mathieson broke a pool record in the 400-yard medley.
- Passon broke a pool record during her leg of the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 50.68 at Friday's meet.
- Passon broke two pool records in the 200-yard backstroke with a 2:00.17 and the 50-yard freestyle with a 23.54 to beat Pepperdine.
- Passon swam the fifth fastest time in SJSU history in the 50-yard butterfly and the sixth fastest in SJSU history in the 50-yard backstroke.
- At the Chick-Fil-A Invite, Passon also swam the fifth fastest time in program history in the 200-yard backstroke with a mark of 1:59.52.
- Mya Azzopardi clocked a time of 1:52.95 in the 200-yard freestyle and a time of 52.42 in the 100-yard freestyle to finish first in both events.
- Ela Freiman finished first in two events with a time of 27.63 in the 50-yard backstroke and a time of 58.68 in the 100-yard IM.
- Rowland led the Spartans in the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 29.60 and the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:18.62.
- Zsófia Muzsnay placed first in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:02:53 followed by Andreea Dragoi with a time of 2:05.58.
- The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Passon, Muzsnay, Mathieson, and Amelia Snyder beat Pacific with a time of 3:27.70.
- Legarth recorded a time of 2:04.04 to win the 200-yard backstroke.
- Jenna Jagielski finished first with a score of 322.20 in the three meter dive, while Emily San Jose came in second with a score of 291.00 at the Roadrunner Invitational.
- Both Jagielski and San Jose have qualified for postseason.
