SAN JOSE, Calif. — The San Josè State Spartans (1-2, 0-0 MW) follow up their first victory with another home game before hitting the road for the Holiday Classic down at Cal Poly over the holiday weekend. SJSU will play against Montana (3-1, 0-0 BS) at home on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 6:00 p.m. PT. Then, the Spartans will face off against UTEP (4-0, 0-0 C-USA) on Friday, Nov. 25 at 2:30 p.m. at Cal Poly Slo. Finally, SJSU will play Cal Poly (2-2, 0-0) on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 2:30 p.m. PT in the host team's home arena. 

Looking Back: 

  • Starting point guard Jada Holland currently leads SJSU in scoring with 13.3 points per game, showing dynamic offensive fire power attacking the rim and knocking down a few long range shots. 
  • Sydney Richards currently leads the team shooting 40 percent from the three-point line, including going 4/8 from three against CSUN. 
  • Marisa Davis-Jones leads the team with 28 total rebounds for the season, while averaging 9.3 rebounds per game. 
  • Spartans head coach April Phillips earned her first ever career win as a Division I head coach Saturday after defeating CSUN Saturday evening on the road.

Up Next: SJSU will return home to play against Saint Mary's on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 2:30 p.m. at the Provident Credit Union Center.
