SAN JOSE, Calif. — Jada Holland recorded a season-high 20 points as SJSU (1-4, 0-0 MW) fell 67-54 to UTEP (5-0, 0-0 C-USA) on the first day of the Holiday Classic at Cal Poly.
- Marisa Davis-Jones added another double-double of 10 points and 10 boards to lead all rebounders.
- Aarion Nichols added eight points to go along with three assists and three rebounds.
- Alani Fluker added six points and three assists on 75% shooting from the field.
- The Spartans led through the first three quarters and shot 42 percent from the field.
- Jasmine Singleton also contributed four points of her own.
