SAN JOSE, Calif.—Amethyst Harper recorded her sixth double-double of the season to help the San José State volleyball team defeat Wyoming, 3-1, in a Mountain West match inside Spartan Gym Saturday afternoon.

- Harper had a very interesting day, recording her 11th career double-double at SJSU with 14 kills and 10 digs. She hit .500 for the day with only two hitting errors and had a career-best three solo blocks to lead the Spartans. She also had to change jerseys in the third set due to blood and went from #9 to #10.
- Blaire Fleming also had 14 kills on the day and added three block assists.
- Jiana Lawson had five blocks in the match, two solo and three assists, to lead the team along with Harper.
- Letizia Cammillucci was the third Spartan in double-figure kills with 10, led the team with three service aces and added three blocks.
- The Spartans improve to 18-6 on the season and 12-2 in the MW. SJSU has a two-match lead over Colorado State for second place as the Rams were swept at Nevada Saturday afternoon. The top-two two seeds of the MW Tournament have a first-round bye and advance to the semifinals to be played on Thanksgiving, November 24.

UP NEXT – The Spartans play the final two road MW match of the season next week at Utah State on Thursday, November 10, and at Boise State on Saturday, November 12.
SCHEDULE UPDATE – The San José State-San Diego State match will now start at 2 p.m. on November 19, and will be televised live on NBC Sports Bay Area.
