ARLINGTON, Texas. - Beau Leroux and Finlay Wood were named to the 2022 All-WAC First Team for men's soccer in an announcement by the WAC on Tuesday afternoon. Fellow San José State Spartans Eduardo Miranda, Kasper Poulsgaard and David Sweeney made the All-WAC Second Team while Gaku Nishimura and Riccardo Scarafia made the WAC All-Freshman Team. 
Beau Leroux, Sophomore, Midfielder, San Jose, Calif./Santa Theresa High School
- Fourth in the conference in goals with seven.
 - Led the conference with 54 shots.
 - Sixth in the conference in total points with 16.
 
Finlay Wood, Graduate Student, Midfielder, Newport, Wales/Duffryn High School
- Registered one goal and three assists.
 - Played as the holding midfielder, dictating the tempo in the middle of the pitch.
 - Started in 16 matches.
 
Eduardo Miranda, Graduate Student, Defender, Irapuato, Mexico/Alisal High School
- Started in 12 of the 14 matches in which he played.
 - Played all 90 minutes in eight conference matches.
 - Led the Spartans to a conference-leading six shutouts.
 
Kasper Poulsgaard, Senior, Defender, Hedenstack, Denmark/Campus Vejle
- Started in 16 matches.
 - Played all 90 minutes in 16 matches.
 - Led the Spartans to a conference-leading six shutouts.
 
David Sweeney, Senior, Goalkeeper, Morgan Hill, Calif./Sobrato High School
- Led the conference with six shutouts.
 - Led the conference with a .743 save percentage.
 - Started and played 90 minutes in all 17 matches.
 
Gaku Nishumura, Freshman, Midfielder, Yokohoma, Japan/Yoshida High School
- Started in 13 of the 15 matches in which he played.
 - Took the corner kicks for the Spartans.
 - Played all 90 minutes in seven matches.
 
Riccardo Scarafia, Freshman, Forward, Cuneo, Italy/Liceo Scientifico Peano
- Registered one goal and two assists.
 - Recorded two assists against Incarnate Word on October 8th.
 - Started in 12 of the 15 matches in which he played.
