The Road to Boise Presented by CEFCU Starts Now - Bowl Tickets On Sale

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Fans can purchase tickets for San José State's bowl game against Eastern Michigan by using a special promo code MOUNTAINWEST through Boise State's ticket website HERE. This will be SJSU's first-ever trip to the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl and second bowl game appearance in the last three years after winning the 2020 Mountain West Championship and playing in the 2020 Arizona Bowl. The game is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 1:30 p.m. MT at Albertsons Stadium.

"This is a great bowl game and a unique opportunity for our fans and alums to support our student-athletes by making the trip to Boise, Idaho," said Director of Athletics Jeff Konya. "This is an opportunity to play on national television on ESPN on a day and time slot that will be the only game in the country. Our coaching staff, student-athletes and administration are very excited about being in Boise for this historic bowl game. We look forward to having numerous events for our fans and alums leading up to the bowl game, and competing against a very good MAC school in Eastern Michigan."

By utilizing the promo code MOUNTAINWEST, SJSU fans will be supporting the student-athletes and will strengthen the Spartans' brand in future bowl considerations. SJSU is 7-4 all-time in bowl games, and looking for its first eight-win season since the 2012 team finished with a school record 11 wins and won the Military Bowl over Bowling Green, 29-20, in Washington, D.C. That season SJSU ended No. 21 in the Associated Press final rankings.
