SPARTANS FACE BRONCOS IN SOUTH BAY SHOWDOWN: Taking a study break from final exams and plenty of air miles the past two weeks, the San José State men's basketball team travels just up the Alameda to face Santa Clara in a non-conference game Saturday afternoon inside the Leavey Center.
San José State enters Saturday's game with a 7-3 record after defeating CSU Bakersfield, 58-48, Tuesday night inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center. Alvaro Cardenas was the only Spartan to score in double figures with 10 points, while Ibrahima Diallo grabbed a season-high 11 rebounds.
