LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Sidney Richards led the way with five rebounds and five points as San Josè State (1-7 0-0 MW) fell 71-44 against USC (9-0, 0-0 Pac-12) Tuesday evening in Los Angeles.
- Jada Holland, who ranks first in the Mountain West in steals per game, recorded three steals.
- The Spartans held USC to just 20 percent shooting in the first quarter.
- Aarion Nichols recorded 10 points and three rebounds.
- Three players contributed at least five points including Holland with eight, Fluker with six and Richards with five points.
- USC is SJSU's only Pac-12 opponent on the season.
