SAN JOSE, Calif. - San José State is adding USC to its 2023 non-conference football schedule, announced by Director of Athletics Jeff Konya on Thursday. The game is set for Aug. 26 at USC to open the season and the Spartans currently have 10 games against Power Five opponents in upcoming schedules. SJSU will play two games against Pac-12 teams in 2023 including Oregon State at home for the opening of the brand new Spartan Athletic Complex.
"It's always exciting to play a perennial power such as USC," said head coach Brent Brennan. "They have a phenomenal coaching staff, plus a storied program and we are looking forward to adding another game against a Power Five opponent."
