HONOLULU- The No. 13 ranked Spartans kick of the season this Saturday at the University of Hawaii Invitational with two neutral sites and one road match.
- The Spartans return 12 letterwinners from last year's squad that finished the season ranked No. 13 in the final Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) poll
- Graduate Students Hannah Henry and Clarissa Wandinger are the captains for the 2023 season.
- Olga Descalzi is the Spartans' top returning goal scorer with 161 career goals in her first four seasons. She ranks 10th on the San Jose State list for career goal scoring.
- Henry returns as the starting goalie for the season. She is currently ranked fourth on the SJSU career saves leader board with 500 saves.
UP NEXT: The Spartans will head to Barkley, Calif. for the Cal Cup invitational, Jan. 28-29.
