RESULTS

ANNAPOLIS, Md. —
Lina Schubert led SJSU in the first day of the Wesley A. Brown Invitational from the United States Naval Academy with a second place overall finish in the women's pentathlon on Friday.

  • Schubert finished second overall in the pentathlon even though this was her first ever collegiate multi-event competition. She also finished with 3,441 points, 87 points shy of first place.
  • Schubert also finished first in the high jump portion of the pentathlon and Hazel Gaspaire tied for third place in the pentathlon.
  • Greta Fraraccio took first place in the long jump portion of the pentathlon with a mark of 5.66m (18'7")
  • Savana Dutton led the Spartans in the 800m event, finishing third with a time of 2:27.89.
