SAN JOSE, Calif.—Sabrina Ma scored 21 points on 7-11 shooting to lead San José State women's basketball (3-16, 1-7 MW) in a 77-59 win over Utah State (4-15, 1-7 MW) on Saturday afternoon.

- Ma made a career-high five 3-pointers, converting on five of eight attempts.
- For Ma, it was her second straight game in which she scored more than 20 points. She recorded her career high of 22 points on Monday against Air Force.
- Jada Holland nearly produced a quadruple-double as she had 12 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and six steals.
- Holland has now registered at least one steal in 17 straight games.
- Jasmine Singleton collected one steal to extend her steal streak. She has gotten at least one steal in 11 straight games.
- Alani Fluker scored a career-high six points
- Ellie Boni scored a season-high five points.
- As a team, the Spartans had season highs in points (77), made field goals (28), assists (16) and steals (17).
- The Spartans shot 46.7 percent from beyond the three-point arc. They have shot over 43 percent from three-point range in four of the last five games.
- The Spartans shot a season-high 53.8 percent from the field.
- April Phillips earned her first Mountain West conference win as a head coach. She is the second women's basketball head coach in Spartans history to win a conference game in the Mountain West.
