SAN JOSE, Calif. - SJSU Swim and Dive will head to Fresno, Calif. to face Fresno State for the final dual meet of the season this Saturday at 12:00 p.m.
- Cali Rowland led the meet against East Bay finishing first in both the 100-yard breaststroke with a 1:03.74 and the 200-yard breaststroke with a 2:19.86.
- Rowland clocked the third fastest time in SJSU history with a 1:01.26 in the 100-yard breaststroke at the Mizzou Invite.
- Rowland took second in the 100-yard breaststroke just missing first by 0.07 seconds against No.2 Stanford.
- Ela Freiman recorded the second fastest SJSU time in the 400-yard IM with a 4:22.25 at the Mizzou Invite.
- Felicity Passon, Megan Legarth, Reagan Mathieson, and Rowland broke a pool record in the 400-yard medley against Pacific.
- Passon broke a pool record during her leg of the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 50.68 against Pacific.
- Passon broke two pool records in the 200-yard backstroke with a 2:00.17 and the 50-yard freestyle with a 23.54 to beat Pepperdine.
- Passon swam the fifth fastest time in SJSU history in the 50-yard butterfly and the sixth fastest in SJSU history in the 50-yard backstroke.
- At the Chick-Fil-A Invite, Passon also swam the fifth fastest time in program history in the 200-yard backstroke with a mark of 1:59.52.
- Jenna Jagielski finished first with a score of 322.20 in the three meter dive, while Emily San Jose came in second with a score of 291.00 at the Roadrunner Invitational.
- Both Jagielski and San Jose have qualified for postseason.
- The Spartans will honor two seniors including Izzie Fraire and Rowland.
UP NEXT: SJSU Swim and Dive will head to Colorado Springs, Co. for the Air Force Invitational from Febuary 2-4.
