Spartans Fall To Nevada In Cold Shooting Night

SAN JOSE, Calif.—Omari Moore scored in double figures for the 13th game this season, but a cold-shooting first half doomed the Spartans as San José State fell to Nevada, 67-40, Saturday afternoon inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center.

  • Moore was the only Spartan to score in double figures with 10 points. He was 4-for-8 from the field and dished out two assists.
  • Ibrahima Diallo grabbed a team-best eight rebounds added to his season blocked shot total with one.
  • The Spartans took an early 15-7 lead with 10:41 remaining in the first half but could not get another shot to fall as the Wolf Pack took a 32-15 lead into the locker room at halftime.
  • The 15 points is the lowest for SJSU in a half and the 40 points is the lowest in a contest this year.
  • Garrett Anderson was second in scoring with seven points including a dunk and grabbed a team-best two steals.
