Millan Clinches 5-2 Dual Match Win over UC Davis

DAVIS, Calif. - Carolina Millan won 4-6, 7-6 (7-0), 6-4 in her singles match to help clinch San José State's (2-3) 5-2 dual match win over UC Davis (1-5) from the Marya Welch Tennis Center in Davis, Calif. Thursday afternoon.

  • Millan has six singles wins this season which is the second most on the Spartans.
  • Irena Muradyan won her singles match 2-6, 6-1, 6-4 and leads the Spartans with eight singles wins.
  • Alba Pedrero Galindo won her match 6-7 (7-3), 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 and has five wins on the season.
  • Rozalina Youseva won her singles match 6-4, 6-2 and Jovana Babic took hers 6-2, 7-6 (7-2) for her fifth singles win of the season.
  • Youseva now has six singles wins which ties Millan, Lara Marco Mas and Raquel Villan Pereira for the second most on the team.
  • Marco Mas only competed in doubles and Villan Pereira did not compete against UC Davis.
