SAN JOSE, Calif. – The Spartans women's basketball team (3-20, 1-11 MW) hosts San Diego State (19-7, 9-4 MW) on Saturday in a rematch from January 28 where the Aztecs knocked off SJSU 59-39 in southern California.
- The Spartans are coming off a hard-fought 59-57 to Colorado State on Thursday night
- San José State led for over 34 minutes in the contest
- The Spartans out-rebounded the Rams 41-30 with 12 offensive rebounds
- Jada Holland scored a game-high 18 points with six rebounds
- Aarion Nichols fell just short of a double-double with 10 points and eight rebounds off the bench
VS SAN DIEGO STATE
- The Spartans fell to the Aztecs on January 28 59-39 in San Diego
- Marisa Davis-Jones finished with a double-double in the contest, scoring 12 points and pulling down 12 rebounds
- The Spartans out-rebounded the Aztecs in the game 37-34 and snagged 13 offensive rebounds
- The Aztecs have the top scoring defense during league play, allowing 59.6 points to Mountain West opponents
