IRVINE, Calif. - Lacie Ham struck out a career-high seven against Liberty and had an additional three strikeouts against Stanford to lead San Jose State (0-4) in an 8-0 six innings loss to Liberty (1-3) and a 18-0 five innings loss to No. 17 Stanford (2-1) at the Mark Campbell Invitational in Irvine, Calif. on Saturday.
LIBERTY
- Ham went 5.2 innings pitched in relief and let in only three runs
- Ahmiya Noriega went 1-for-3
- Mackenzie Hutchinson went 1-for-2 from the plate and threw out her second baserunner trying to steal of the season
No. 17 STANFORD
- Ham went 1.2 innings pitched in relief and stuck out three while giving up no runs and only two hits
- Alyssa Graham, Jenessa Ullegue, Hutchinson and Reina Zermeno all had hits for the Spartans
- Hutchinson ended the day going 2-for-4 combined over the two games
