SAN JOSE, Calif.— Rozalina Youseva closed out the dual meet while Jovana Babic, Irena Muradyan also had wins to lead San Jose State (3-3) 4-0 against Cal State Fullerton (3-1) Saturday afternoon at the Spartan Tennis Complex.
- Alba Pedrero Galindo and Lara Marco Mas won their doubles match 6-2. They are now 4-2 overall as teammates and 2-1 at dual meets together.
- Carolina Millan and Olaya Bances Iglesias earned a 6-1 win in doubles. It was the pair's first win together, and they improve now to 1-1 overall. The two doubles wins gave the Spartans an early lead over Fullerton.
- Muradyan won her singles match 6-3, 6-0 and leads the Spartans with nine singles wins.
- Babic notched her sixth singles win of the season in 6-2, 6-0 fashion.
- Youseva locked up her second match win of the day in a 6-2, 6-0 singles win to give her seven singles wins on the season. Her victory secured the dual meet sweep for SJSU over the previously undefeated Titans.
- The Spartans and Titans played to four points due to late start because of weather.
