SAN JOSE, Calif.—Omari Moore led the Spartans with 18 points, but the San José State defense could not hold New Mexico down as the Lobos won 96-68 Friday night in a Mountain West game inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center.

- Moore scored in double figures for the 15th consecutive game and led the team in scoring for the 16th time this season. He also dished out three assists and grabbed four rebounds.
- Ibrahima Diallo tied his season high with 12 points and was one rebound short of a double-double with nine.
- Garrett Anderson came off the bench to score 12 points, a season best for him.
- Robert Vaihola grabbed nine rebounds on the night, eight offensive rebounds, and also had a blocked shot, assist and a steal to go with his eight points scored.
- The Spartans led early, 15-14 at the 12:14 mark, but New Mexico used a 36-16 run to take a 50-31 advantage at halftime.
- San José State outrebounded the Lobos, 48-34, with 29 offensive boards which led to 28 second-chance points.
UP NEXT – The Spartans head northeast for another Tuesday night game in the State of Nevada, this time in Reno. SJSU faces off against Nevada, the second-place team in the MW, on the 21st at 7 p.m.
