DAY 3 RESULTS | MOUNTAIN WEST CHAMPIONSHIPS CENTRAL | FULL SCHEDULE

HOUSTON - Zsófia Muzsnay swam a 54.15 in the 100-yard butterfly to place eighth and record the fourth fastest time in SJSU history helping lead the Spartans in day three of the Mountain West Swim and Dive Championship at the Campus and Recreation Center Natatorium on the campus of the University of Houston. The Spartans scored 431 points in the first three days of competition. 

  • Ela Freiman finished ninth in the 400-yard IM with a 4:19.45 to record the second fastest time in SJSU history.
  • Cali Rowland placed 10th in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:01.77.  
  • Emma Myburgh finished with a 1:02.44 in the 100-yard breaststroke to record the sixth fastest time in program history. 
  • Mya Azzopardi recorded the ninth fastest 200-yard freestyle in SJSU history with a time of 1:49.53 to finish 11th. 
  • The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Reagan Mathieson, Katie Schwarze, Laís Gasparini e Silva, and Azzopardi placed seventh with a time of 1:34.01.
