HOUSTON- Jenna Jagielski broke a school record in the platform dive with a score of 261.75 to place sixth overall helping lead the Spartans in the final day of the Mountain West Swim and Dive Championship at the Campus and Recreation Center Natatorium on the campus of the University of Houston. The Spartans finished eighth with 632.5 points.
- Zsófia Muzsnay placed fourth overall in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:58.96.
- Cali Rowland recorded a 2:15.92 in the 200-yard breaststroke to place 12th overall.
- Ela Freiman recorded the sixth fastest 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:16.94 to finish 15th.
- Reagan Mathieson finished 11th in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 50.62.
- Ellie Shorten clocked a 2:02.13 in the 200-yard backstroke to place 15th.
- The relay team of Laís e Silva, Mya Azzopardi, Mathieson, and Muzsnay recorded the 10th fastest 400-yard freestyle relay in SJSU history to place seventh overall with a time of 3:23.69.
- Seniors Izzie Fraire and Mathieson were honored at the meet.
UP NEXT: SJSU swim and dive will head to the PAC-12 Invitational February 26th in Federal Way, Wash.
