Spartans Receive 20th Consecutive Scholar All-America Team Honors

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State women's swimming and diving team has been named a Scholar All-America team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the Fall of 2022. This is the 20th consecutive semester that the program has earned this accomplishment. 

The 24 student athletes posted a 3.12 grade-point average to earn the honor. 

Head Coach Sage Hopkins said "I could not be more proud of the academic accomplishments of my team. SJSU Swimmers and Divers are an amazing group of strong women who are our world leaders of tomorrow, and I am honored to be their coach." 

Founded in 1922, the CSCAA is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy and professional development.

 UP NEXT: SJSU Dive will compete in Colorado Springs, Co. for the Air Force Invitational from February 2-4.
