SAN JOSE, Calif. – The San José State Spartans (3-23, 1-14 MW) play the first of their final two home games of the season tomorrow against Boise State (15-14, 10-6 MW) in the second matchup of the season between the two teams.
- The Spartans are coming off a 70-61 loss on the road against New Mexico on Saturday afternoon
- Jada Holland led the team with 10 points off the bench while extended her steal streak to 24 games
- Nailea Nicholas nearly had her second straight double-double with nine points and seven rebounds
- Ellie boni had her best game as a Spartan with eight points on 3-of-5 shooting off the bench
- Amhyia Moreland and Sabrina Ma each matched Boni with eight points
VS BOISE STATE
- This is the second meeting of the season with the Broncos taking the first meeting 73-62 on Dec. 31 in Boise
- The Broncos lead the all-time series 26-14
- The Broncos (11.5) and the Spartans (10.9) are the two best offensive rebounding teams during league play
- The Spartans are atop the Mountain West during league play in steals per game, averaging nine, while the Broncos are at the bottom of the league, only averaging 3.5 per game
