SAN JOSE, Calif. - After a successful week at last week's conference championships, two San José State women's swimmers and one diver have received All-Mountain West honors for their performances. "We are so proud of all that Ela, Zsofia, and Jenna have accomplished this season in both the pool and classroom, and looking forward to cheering them on in their upcoming post season competitions." said head coach Sage Hopkins.
Zsófia Muzsnay - 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly
- Placed fourth overall in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:58.96.
- Recorded a 54.15 in the 100-yard butterfly to place eighth and record the fourth fastest time in SJSU history.
Jenna Jagielski - Platform, 3-meter springboard
- Broke a school record in the platform dive with a score of 261.75 to place sixth overall.
- Finished eighth in the 3-meter springboard with a score of 219.60 to become the first program finalist since 2017.
Ela Freiman - 400 IM
- Finished eighth in the 400-yard IM with a 4:19.45 to record the second fastest time in SJSU history.
