SAN JOSE, Calif. – The Spartans women's basketball team (3-24, 1-15 MW) plays its final home game on Saturday afternoon, taking on Fresno State (10-19, 3-13 MW) at 1 p.m., looking to split the season series and finish the season on a strong note with two games to play before the Mountain West Tournament.
- The Spartans are coming off a 78-70 loss to Boise State on Thursday night
- SJSU was down by as many as 23 points in the fourth quarter before going on a 23-10 run to close out the game
- The Spartan defense held the Broncos without a made field goal in the final 6:32 of the game
- Sabrina Ma was one point shy of tying her career high, scoring 21 points with three 3-pointers
- Jada Holland and Marisa Davis-Jones both finished the game with 14 points
