LOGAN, Utah – The Spartans women's basketball team (4-24, 2-15 MW) will look to build on the momentum they started with their 73-66 win over Fresno State on Saturday against Utah State (4-24, 1-16) on Tuesday night on the road to close out the regular season.
- The Spartans never trailed in their win over Fresno State, leading by as many as 11 points during the game
- Jada Holland scored her 1,000th career point at the 6:32 mark of the fourth quarter on her way to a 21-point game in the win
- Sabrina Ma kocked down a career-high six 3-pointers and finished with 20 points for the second straight game
- Nailea Nicholas tied her career high with 15 points on 7-of-8 shooting from the field
- Aarion Nichols scored 12 points and pulled down eight rebounds on her senior day
VS. UTAH STATE
- The Spartans are looking to sweep the season series against the Aggies, with the previous meeting being a 77-59 win on Jan. 21 in San Jose
- With a win, the Spartans will secure the 10 seed in the Mountain West Tournament this weekend
- The Aggies lead the overall series 19-15
- The Spartans continue to be one of the best in the league in stealing the basketball, averaging 9.2 steals per game during conference play
- The Aggies are one of the best shot blocking teams in the Mountain West, averaging 3.06 (4th) per contest during league play
