NET RANKINGS (as of 2/6): The Spartans are currently ranked 104 in the NET Rankings after games played on January 25. STARTING LINEUP SCORING SUCCESS VS. WYOMING: For the first time this year, all five Spartan starters scored in double figures in the same game. Against Wyoming, Omari Moore led the team with 29 points, followed by Sage Tolbert III with 14 points and Alvaro Cardenas with 13 points. Trey Anderson scored 10 points, his first double-figure game since the Bahamas, while Ibrahima Diallo recorded his first double-double of the year with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

STRONG SHOOTING NIGHT PROPELS SJSU TO WIN: In the only game against Wyoming this season, the Spartans shot 56.6 percent from the field, 30-53. San José State is 4-1 when shooting over 50 percent in a game with wins over Air Force (57.6%), Wyoming, Oakland (55.4%) and Fresno State (54.4%). The only loss came to North Texas in the Bahamas (58.6%).

MOST MW WINS SINCE 2016-17: Heading into the week with five Mountain West wins, this Spartan team has recorded the second-most MW wins in school history. The Spartans would need two more wins to match the 2016-17 team who went 7-11 in MW play that season. The 2015-16 team finished 4-14 in the MW as the only other team to win more than three conference games since SJSU joined the MW in 2013-14.

DOING MOORE FOR THE SPARTANS: Omari Moore continues to prove why he is a captain on this Spartan team as he leads the team in scoring at 16.4 points per game and has dished out a team-best 114 assists, including nine in a win over Oakland. He is shooting 44.8 percent from the field (139-310). He has grabbed a team-high 15 steals and averages 35.9 minutes played. Moore led the team in scoring in 14 games this season, the most recent 29 points in a win over Wyoming.

GUARANTEED WINNING HOME RECORD: For the first time since the 2016-17 season, the Spartans are guaranteed a winning home record. The 82-52 win over Air Force gave SJSU eight home wins with five home games to go on the season. The Spartans are currently 9-2 inside the friendly confines of the Provident Credit Union Event Center. The last Spartan team to have a .500 or better home record was the 2016-17 team who finished 9-7 at The Event Center and 14-16 overall.

CAREER RANKINGS: Two Spartans rank among the San José State best in three categories. Omari Moore is in fifth place all-time in assists at 375, fifth in blocked shots at 81, and seventh all-time in steals with 110. Ibrahima Diallo is ninth in blocked shots with 61 and needs four to move into eighth place with Isaac Thornton.

RECENT 10-WIN SEASONS: The Spartans have won 10 games for the first time since the 2016-17 season when the team finished 14-16 overall. This year, the 10th win came against UNLV on December 28. In the past 30 years, the team has won 10 or more games in just 13 seasons.
