COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West released the 2023 football schedule and San José State will open league play at home against Air Force (Sept. 23), and will welcome Utah State (Oct. 21), Fresno State (Nov. 11) and San Diego State (Nov. 18) inside CEFCU Stadium, announced by the conference office on Thursday. The Spartans will open the season on the road at USC (Aug. 26) and start their home slate against Oregon State (Sept. 3) which will be the opening of the new Spartan Athletics Center, the most transformative capital project in the history of SJSU Athletics and will be the new home for SJSU football, men's and women's soccer.
