LAS VEGAS—Tibet Görener came off the bench to lead the Spartans in scoring as San José State fell in the semifinals to top-seed and No. 20 ranked San Diego State 64-49 Friday night at the Mountain West Tournament inside the Thomas & Mack Center.

- Görener scored 15 points as he was 5-of-10 from the field including 3-for-8 from three-point range.
- Omari Moore scored just seven points in the game and grabbed seven rebounds.
- Moore now has 576 points on the season, the fifth-highest total in a season in school history.
- He also moved into sixth all-time in field goals made at SJSU with 486, passing Sid Williams who had 485 from 1978-81.
- Trey Anderson added eight points and blocked a career-high three shots during the game.
- The Spartans outrebounded the Aztecs 39-32, grabbing 13 offensive boards.
