BANDON, Ore. – The San José State men's golf team is back in action this week after being away for over a month at the Bandon Dunes Championship at the Bandon Dunes Resort.
- This is the first tournament for the Spartans since their time in Hawaii was cut short due to high winds
- Caleb Shetler is the defending champion of the Bandon Dunes Championship after shooting a three-day score of 209 (-4)
- The Spartans have an average team score of 290.4 through five tournaments this season
- Shetler leads the team with an average score of 71.7 this season
- Kristopher Stiles is just behind Stetler with a scoring average of 73
- Stiles is coming off a stellar performance at the APGA Black History Month Classic, where he shot 137 (-7) and finished tied for fifth as the only amateur in the field
