SAN JOSE, Calif. - Adrianna Noriega hit a walk-off two RBI double in the bottom of the seventh inning and Lacie Ham struck out a career-high 10 to lead San José State (12-14, 1-0 MW) in a 5-4 win over Nevada (19-3, 0-1 MW) in the first conference game of the season Friday night at Spartan Softball Stadium.

- This is Adrianna Noriega's second walk-off win in less than a week after hitting a game-winning home run against Rhode Island last Sunday
- Ham threw 7.0 IP for her third complete game of the season and let in only two earned runs on the way to her fifth win of the season
- Ham's previous career-high in strikeouts was eight which she has done twice this season and she leads the Spartans with 74 on the season
- Ahmiya Noriega cut the Wolf Pack lead to 4-3 with an RBI single in the fifth inning and went 1-for-2 on the day with a run scored as well
- Reina Zermeno went 1-for-3 with an RBI single
- Jenessa Ullegue hit an RBI triple for her first triple of the season, plus stole a base and scored a run for the Spartans
- Alyssa Graham, Ashley Rico and Jessica Giacoma also scored runs in the win
- The Spartans have won four games in a row for the second time this season
- Nevada protested the game afterwards, but the NCAA determined Saturday morning that there was no valid protest and declared the Spartans the winners
