SAN JOSE, Calif.— Cheyenne Rice and Jaida Ward won their match out of the No. 1 spot against Oregon to lead San José State against the Ducks and the Boise State Broncos in Day Two of the San José State Tournament
- Ward and Rice defeated Oregon's Chloe Brown and Zoe Almanza in straight sets 21-16, 21-16 for a decisive victory when the Spartans and Ducks were tied at 2-2 in the dual
- Teila Allen and Blaire Fleming beat out Abby Plevin and Batia Rothstein of Oregon in straight sets 21-14, 21-14
- Isabelle Sistek and Meredith Scott won in straight sets over Oregon's Presley McCaskill and Lolo Folau 23-21, 21-13
- The Spartans went 3-1 overall at the tournament with dual wins over CSU Bakersfield, USF and Oregon
