San Jose, Calif. – The San José State women's tennis team (5-5) hosts San Francisco (6-5) on Wednesday afternoon in a makeup match from March 14. This will be the last match before the Spartans start Mountain West play on Saturday against Utah State in Reno, Nev.
- The Spartans are coming off a 4-0 sweep over Saint Mary's last Friday where they won two tiebreakers to earn the doubles point and took three singles matches in straight sets to earn the win
- Irena Muradyan was part of a 7-6 (7-1) tiebreak win in her doubles match, followed by a 6-1, 6-1 singles win to move to 6-1 on the year in singles in dual matches and 11-4 overall
- Carolina Millan moved to 7-5 on the yeara and 4-3 in dual matches with a 6-3, 6-0 win in the No. 2 singles match to earn the first singles point in the win
- Jovana Babic and Lara Marco Mas moved to 2-0 in doubles with a 7-6 (7-4) tiebreak win on Friday
